Citadel Market

A scene from my (as yet unwritten) story Worlds Entwined. This is a market in the Citadel, where people come to buy textiles and other materials. The residents of the Citadel have an all-encompassing approach to color: the more, the better.

Media used are watercolor and colored pencils. I spent a lot of time going in and drawing little details...making fabric patterns/textures might be my new favorite thing to do, it was so fun! I'm not sure if you will be able to see it, the details get lost a bit when it's re-sized. I'm not exactly sure how long it took because I worked on it over several days, but at least five hours (probably more like 10).

(Oh, and in addition to the two characters prominently in the foreground, I managed to sneak all of my other important characters into the market crowds. Can you guess which they are?)
